The New Additions of September 8, 2013 show remarkable progress in your talents both from a technical and aesthetic point of view. My two favorites are The Lions Beard and the sepia of the Saguaro Cactus. The Lions Beard shows a great amount of detail and the tiny hairs that surround the bud seem to be backlit thus highlighting the bud from the background. The tonal quality of the saguaro image spans the full range, however I would have darkened the ground a bit. Every time I look at the image my eye is drawn there because it is the brightest area, thus detracting from the cactus itself. I like the fishing nets image that shows the whole net. It is colorful and fun and tells a complete story, (without a title), whereas the closeup, although colorful and fun, would leave me wondering what it actually was. Your perspective of the Maroon Bells is refreshing. And the fisherman seen through the bridge is a great study in arcs. I count six, and that's without working too hard to find more.
